What Is Wheel Alignment
Wheel alignment is the specific adjustments made to your vehicle's suspension to optimise ride, handling and steering characteristics. Each car manufacturer specifies precise settings to achieve maximum performance from their vehicle.
 
An Example
A 155/80/13 tyre revolves 914 times per mile. If the wheel is misaligned by only 3mm then you cannot feel it: 3mm misalignment x 914 revs= 2740mm
which means that every mile the tyre is forced over by 2.7 metres(9 feet) sideways whilst rotating
